Embark on a 10-day restorative retreat on Rajah Island, in Kerala, India, combining yoga, meditation, and the healing tradition of Ayurveda. This regenerative retreat gives you the unique experience of the ancient Indian healing tradition of Ayurveda, as well as yoga, meditation and self-inquiry processes led by certified facilitators. In this retreat, in addition to Renata, you will be accompanied by Iva Drtina-Hall, who has been leading this retreat for 17 years.

Iva is a Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor since 2002 and a wellness practitioner specialising in Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga and Ayurveda. She guides and teaches her students to practice a balanced approach to a healthy lifestyle. She creates and teaches international yoga teacher trainings, worldwide retreats and workshops. She encourages everyone to embark on a transformative and rejuvenating journey.

Itinerary
March 17 – 26, 2025

Each day at this retreat includes yoga practices, guided meditations and Ayurvedic treatments, focusing on detoxification/rejuvenation and rest. In addition, you will have time for personal reflection and a rich cultural program, all in the serene natural sanctuary of Rajah Island.

March 17th

Arrival at Cochin International Airport (COK) in Kerala, India, usually in the morning, if travelling from the USA. We recommend you opt for Etihad Airways. On arrival, transfer to Rajah Island Center with pick-up by our driver.

From 17th to
March 26th

Rajah Island is a tranquil and charming resort surrounded by tidal waters, with a swimming pool and palm gardens that invite you to relax. During your stay, you will enjoy twice daily holistic Ayurvedic treatments, sunrise and sunset asana sessions, guided meditations, serene moments of self-inquiry and relaxation by the pool, complemented by an enriching cultural programme. All meals are vegan, organic and personalised to your constitution, accompanied by fresh juice, a fruit platter, herbal water and bottled water.

March 26th

At 9:00 a.m., depart Rajah Island for Fort Cochin, a charming historic colonial-style town. There is the option of an overnight stay in Fort Cochin, where you can enjoy guided tours and shopping opportunities. Note: Accommodation in Fort Cochin must be booked and paid for separately.

10-day program. Standard accommodation:

Deposit required: $500 (non-refundable after January 1st).

 

Rates for double room accommodation (per person):

  • Early booking (until December 1st): $2,580

  • Booking after December 1st: $2,780

 

Rates for single room (per person):

  • Early booking (until December 1st): $2,980

  • Booking after December 1st: $3,180

Includes:

  • Return transfers between the airport and the Rajah Island Center.

  • 10-day accommodation and meals (as the second point in the list)

  • Two daily sessions of yoga, meditation, pranayama, yin yoga and self-inquiry.

  • Daily Ayurvedic consultation with the doctor, together with two personalised treatments (massages, Ayurvedic therapies and herbal medicines).

  • Delicious and nutritious vegan food: three meals a day, accompanied by fresh juices, fruits, herbal teas and bottled water.

  • Cultural activities: excursions, cooking classes, saree experience and cultural performances.

Not included:

  • Air tickets to/from Cochin (COK), India

  • Laundry service (available at additional cost)

  • Tourist visa (e-visa) which can be arranged online at www.iVisa.com.
    Note: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in India.

  • Optional day/overnight stay in historic Fort Cochin (not included in the retreat cost). We recommend booking a colonial boutique hotel by 28 March; additional nights will be your choice.
